If you are in the education sector, you will know how crucial it is to have content that is both informative and presented in a way that grabs your audience’s attention, whether they are children or adults.

That’s where I come in!

I am the author of The Really Useful Book of Science Experiments and The Really Useful Book of Secondary School Science Experiments.

My own love affair with science began when I was a child-I can not pin point the exact date as I simply can not remember a time when I did not consider myself a ‘scientist’.

From my first telescope to attempting to breed snails in my back garden, science has always been a part of my life.

My love of science soon turned into a love of teaching science when I discovered there was a job that involved talking about science all day!

I have been teaching science since 2006 and have worked with children from 6 years old up to 18 (and beyond!).

I have a PhD in education and an MRes in Education and Social Science, both from King’s College London.

I am also a passionate champion for the greater participation of women in STEM subjects and careers.
